The purpose of the CCRSPA is to foster social opportunities for our members, to keep members informed about legislative news from Annapolis that may impact them, to maintain a close relationship with Charles County Public Schools and the Charles County Board of Education and to continue to be of service to our community – especially to those young people enrolled in our public school system.  We engage in a variety of activities relative to all of these goals and we are proud of the good work that we are able to do for our members and for our community. 

 

We plan luncheons, picnics and bus trips for our members, maintain the Port Tobacco One Room School House for use by local children, offer Pre-Retirement seminars for prospective retirees and make generous donations to the Charles County Scholarship Fund, Relay for Life and Project Graduation.

CCRSPA members hail from all aspects of service in the public schools!  We are Bus Drivers, Para Professionals, Cafeteria Workers, Building Service Workers, Pupil Personnel Workers , Administrators, Secretaries and Educators!   Everyone offers CCRSPA something different and unique to create a rich and varied group.  CCRSPA members gave generously of their time and talents while school system employees and enjoy continuing that tradition as retirees.
